Was in Trenton covering "Bridgegate". During some down time I copied very Super Bowl specific security comms on the state 800 TRS on tg #57936. Yes, NJ National Guard. I'm making a quick key for the game and that tg is part of it.

The big RF oh-hum, except for alot of radio checks and post checks - weather reports
many off site NJ venues are already scalling back on 'local evets' some are cancelling due to lack of interest ($)

IFBs?

Long ago I used to watch the NYC Marathon and listen to the IFBs. Pretty cool hearing the director and seeing the cameras respond. They're still on the air; once on a while I'll hear a chopper on an input but nothing like I used to hear.

Would IFBs be something to listen to for the Superbowl or did all that change?

TAC-1 and Tech792, I believe parts of Essex had their DarkStar (NEST-NNSA) overflight today. Huey with its spotlights on above treetop thumping around for about 45mins near Hoffman-LaRoche RT3

As I go out to work I just checked ticket prices - $1500 + does not seem like this is worth sitting out side keeping my body warm - ears covered etc what am i going to hear?

what might happen is that 'assets' who normally dont do routine police day to day stuff will be involving themselfs into local situations just to keep busy

There will be more 'security assets' than there will be fans inside the stadiium

Nvertheless list your confirm freq's here during game day and the drive home

So far most of the NFL radios I have seen around MetLife stadium have been XPR MotoTRBO radios, so I can confirm mostly (but not all), TRBO around here.

NFL team escorts seem to be operating on 8TAC91 (851.5125 MHz, 156.7pl) and NJUTAC4 (470.2375 MHz, 186.2pl). The two seem to be patched together.

StateCom 15 appears to be used for NJSP TEAMS.

The NJSP Encrypted Talkgroup is active as well.

B2-6 is also active of course.

UASI 2 is also linked to 851.5125. Now I'm hearing escort comms on NJSP 800 TG 28144 (Hospital com 2). Multiple UIDs showing. The dispatcher goes by "state com".
