FYI since this trs became operational in 2017 I noticed audio reception of unencrypted Sussex Co. talkgroups which now is comprised mostly of Fire & EMS were fine. However, the unencrypted decoded packet audio from the Greensville and Sussex prisons was being interrupted, chopping and mostly understandable. Previously, on occasion, I kept trying different setup options with no success. Yesterday I tried again with no success and posted a "help" message in a Uniden Forum.
I received a response today which I believe is the reason why I and anyone else using a Uniden 536 and most likely also subsequent models attempting to receive this trs will experience both prison's audio choppy. I also don't know whether or not Whister or Unication scanners will have the same issue. The implication on the attached reply was that the Unication scanners may not experience the choppy audio problem.
