DaveH , I think these documents may help you to identify the Talk Groups for the Fire department and their vehicles as per the aliases .

Thanks again. good supporting info for radio.

TAFL shows simplex channels which are also licensed to other fire services in Quebec:

150.5000
151.4000
154.3550
154.8750
155.6100

I suspect that Nexedge system due to limited capacity (one VC per site) is used for dispatch/enroute, and simplex
is used on-site (fireground) and inter-operation with surrounding departments.

These VHF frequencies are province-wide simplex for MRC fire departments and also found in UHF .

These are listed as province wide common channels.

Your 154.355 should likely be 155.355

Correction noted! 154.355 is used by MRC des Collines sites both as VC and CC. Also 155.610 is
high-power digital paging in Ottawa not far away (for a 100W signal). Also noticed that UTAC-Q5 is 418.6875
which is downlink for ORNGE air ambulance in Ontario.

IC document goes back to 2013, shows NBFM with CSQ. TAFL shows NXDN mode (4K00F1EDN) which should
work within department, or neighbouring which have the same mode; or they just all use analog?

Will dig back in my notes, may have heard something on one of them, but with the level of activity and
distance, hard to capture much.
