I am watching the Talk Group Log to build my list of RIDs. However, I am surprised by how many transmissions never show up on the log. Does anybody else notice this? Thanks.

I have not noticed that behavior before. Is this while you are monitoring a P25 system? Are you monitoring more than one system (more than one control channel) or just a single CC when this happens?

Yes to your first question (P25 Phase II) and yes to a single CC. Thanks.

Yeah, I have seen this as well. I still focus on my bigger issue of undesired talk group audio "bleedthru" but your post reminded me that I had also seen this issue and was going to bring it up but got busy and forgot about it. As I recall, recently when I was parked on the some other screen, heard a transmission that I was interested in and wanted to see the source, switched to the Talk Group Log and it was not updated with the TG just received (I remember knowing that the last TG in the log was definitely not what I had just heard).

System I monitor is a P25 system with mixed P1 and P2 talk groups. Parked on one CC but I sometimes roam between two others both on the same system but different sites. I can't remember if when I noticed this I was roaming or not but I think I was not in roam mode. I am trying to make sure that my talk group bleedthru issue is not dependent on roaming (doesn't appear to be) so have been just parked on one CC most of the time these days.

Hmm.

There is an update to the testing version. Please try and see if this is issue is resolved for Phase II systems. 2021-04-09_1155

Thank you. I will run 1155 for a while and let you know my results.

Todd,
I am happy to report that the change you made in _1155 appears to have solved my issue with missing TG transmission entries in the log. The Talk Group Log screen is more responsive now and I have not noticed any missing entries while listening over the past several days.

Thank you for your very quick response and fix. You set the bar high for other companies to follow. The P25RX is a pleasure to use.
