I live on Table Rock Lake in rural western Hollister in Taney County

I have Uniden’s new SDS100, as well as a
BCD325HP

I use the Radio Shack 800 mhz antenna,
and it is -very- difficult for me to receive Hollister PD, Taney County Sherrif

Anyone else experienced this problem, and could perhaps help me. I would really appreciate any feedback

Try the stock antenna instead. Taney Co is is on MOSWIN and thar site (Branson) is a VHF hi band site. That may help. I will have to check further for your other city.

Same answer for Hollister PD. If the stock antenna does not help then maybe an outside antenna or a VHF hi band antenna may. But you will loose signal strenght on UHF or 700/800 sites.

I thought Taney County was a P25 system..
as well as Hollister

Yes it is. They are on the statewide MOSWIN system. And the area(s) around Branson are all VHF high sites except for the new one that supposedly helps cover the city of Branson. I am suggesting that you try the stock antenna that came with the scanner because it will probably receive the VHF signals better than the 800MHz antenna you are using at the moment.
