Same system as was used on 1/6/2000 in DC to purportedly avoid detection/monitoring (not so). Just a matter of time before the carriers (Verizon, etc.) act to remove piggy back communications off of their cell systems. Hytera came out with it's own line of products.

As to " You cannot monitor an LTE radio." Where there's a will, there's a way....depending on the agency you work for.

It is a very quiet system. Only 6 keyups today on the Metaconet Site in Bloomfield.
Also, keep in mind that there are so many sites that you may not have anyone affiliated on the site you are monitoring. Likely no affiliation, no traffic.

I had the low band programed in a while back. Unless their was a bad storm you barley heard a peep.

No idea, I do not use the RR database.
Could still be some lingering issues with the Uniden scanners and their inability to monitor some TIII systems correctly.

I ran the Uniden 436 in Analyze mode on the Talcott site and confirmed the LCN as 7, 17, 27, 37 with 27 being the control channel. I programmed it into a 996P2 and scanned the site. The only voice traffic heard was the second slot of the control channel. It would appear that the Uniden scanners have the same issues with Tait systems as they do with the Hytera systems., that is, they will not follow the voice channels properly.
Works fine with DSDPlus, channels are 15/16, 35/36, 55/56, and 75/76
