Apparently they were having a problem with dispatch 1 channel, and at the same time my SDS200 went deaf, but my SDS100 was picking up channel 2. They got channel 1 back up then Clearing my memory card and reloading everything has fixed it

Go to DB listing above Favorites. Go to Texas and then to Kaufmann County. Go to the county level. GMRS is there. Amend it to a Favorite. If you don't intend to drive near the other sites, you might want to use the Terrell site. However, hiegtx might know if you need to include the GMRS simulcast.

Before Terrell's own site was configured to use GMRS, instead of a stand alone system,Terrell was being heard on the Simulcast. Now that their own site is set up as part of GMRS, you should not need the Simulcast site to hear Terrell. If the system is set up the way most are, if a Terrell unit was in Dallas County, on official business (dropping off or picking up a prisoner or paperwork, for example), you likely would hear the Terrell unit on both Terrell's site, as well as the Simulcast. There is a subsite (transmit tower) for the Simulcast in Forney, but you likely would not need to program in it just to catch Terrell radio traffic.

Database shows Terrell PD is encrypted. I've been hearing them in the clear. Are they just partially encrypted?

Huh, it looks like they've dropped the encryption. It's no longer showing 'P' (protected) in UniTrunker. I'll drop it to partial and we'll see what happens.

As of an hour or so ago, Terrell is back simulcasting on Kaufman County’s system as well as GMRS system.
