Does anyone have the ability to hear the Texarkana area DPS? I know they have the dispatch in Bowie County Texarkana and a tower in Cass County (Cusseta Mtn).
I have the below frequencies, but have been unable to hear anything. Have they gone encrypted? They are not on the Texarkana GATRRS Trunked system for Bowie Country.

Those are all mobile frequencies and 154.675 isn't even a valid one. It should be 154.6725.

These are the base/repeater frequencies. I don't know which ones are used in your area.

A while back, I went through there for some training and heard Bowie County SO calling for DPS on their primary on GAATRS—34006, I believe. They answered. I think it was a 1AXXX or something around there. Their unit numbers are region, district, and then unit ID.

Thanks. All DPS Units normally have the ability to work the Sheriff's office in the counties they are assigned to. I concur that the new unit numbers are done by the Region they are assigned to.
I did hear traffic this morning for the first time on the below:

I've noticed that there aren't any talk groups listed on GATRRS for DPS region 1 for that area. Perhaps they talk on Bowie county SO channel ?

In Galveston I sometimes hear DPS Texas city on Galveston PD channel 2 running a vehicle's registration or info. So you might try monitoring Bowie county SO information channel and see if they pop up there on occasion ?
