Maybe that’s an apple thing. I can navigate the pdf without an internet connection in windows 10. Going to try my iPhone when I get home.

Just downloaded the pdf to iPhone 13 and all links to items within the pdf work as expected while phone is in airplane mode.

Many thanks to all who took the time to reply to me. I managed to do what some suggested ie save the HTML file then print it out double sided. I was surprised this is permitted as the author (whoever he/she might be) must have some sort of copyright on the book ? Anyway - thanks again to everyone who took the time to respond to me.

FYI, the author of the book is the one who owns the site you downloaded it from. He has it there for people to use for free.
