A shame, really - it appears the Extreme SWL Facebook group - which was a good one to go to for pirate notifications - has been shut down all of a sudden. There are others - the HF Underground site being one - but this had a collection of other folks there as well besides pirates

Content Delivery Network. Many companies use them so users pull information from the closest system and it provides load balancing and failover in case of an outage. Two that come to mind are Edge and Akamai.
