It would be nice to have an indicator, maybe just above the posting form at the end of the page, to alert a potential poster that the thread is a zombie – one that was long dormant to which someone added a new posting. Maybe skip threads that are more than a page, to eliminate the intentional ongoing threads.

Example that I almost added to: Traveling to LA

First of all, I'm not sure what this has to do with the RR Database?

Secondly, that thread was created in July 2023 so I'm not sure I agree with your definition that a zombie or dormant thread is one which hasn't seen activity in 2 months.

So, an indicator would be easier than scrolling up one or two posts and looking at the date of the last post? Hmmm :unsure:

The date is on every post...and in the list of threads it shows the start date of the thread.
