Hi davensj!

My girlfriend and myself will be going down to AC for the Air Show tomorrow morning! It looks like it's going to e a nice day and it looks like a full schedule of cool airplanes and jets! We'll probably be hanging on the boardwalk side in front of the Taj Mahal Casino or the pier. I don't think I'll be bringing any radios down with me, although I may change my mind and bring my 2-Meter Portable and little pocket repeater book!

Anyone know any special talk groups that might be used on the AC or county system?

Travelled to airshow myself today. Was really crowded after 11am.
Parked myself on beach at Show center which was Red Towboat USA offshore just
south of Trump plaza.

A few callsigns I heard on Air Boss 238.150.I never did find the Air Boss VHF freq.

DUECE 80 McGuire KC-10
TOPCAT 05 NJ ANG KC-135
JEDI 42 McGuire C-17
DEVIL 11 NJ ANG F-16's
RAPTOR F-22 on AC appch 327.1250 mentioned he was headed out to W-107
after first flyby to refuel with KC-10.

Heard F-16 demo from Shaw on 376.0250
Fat Albert on 305.500
Blue Angels Diamond 273.350
Never heard Angels solos on freqs I programmed.

I left shortly after Angels after a beer at overpriced Trump Beach bar though did
eyeball F-15 demo and Heritage flight of 4 from there.
Not a bad way to watch airshow from Beach bar however hazy late morn sun made
for tough picture quality.Would have been better if later afternoon.
Looks like though an overall good flyby airshow!

Here a are a few pics.....

Just wanted to add one more pic from last week's AC Airshow.
No this pic is not rotated incorrectly.
Seems the Raptor demo guys have gotten better at showing off this Bird since I first saw demo back in May at Andrews airshow.
He stood this F-22 on it's tail like a Chopper for quite a while.
Hardly moving forward at all like the Angels F-18's do or other jets.
Has to be a weird sensation looking straight up on your back and hovering 1000 feet up while strapped like an
astronaut into fighter jet...

Quite impressive!
