Looking at your scenarios, I'd choose the Sirio antennas, but I'd go with the higher gain model for the VHF public safety:

I just got an Amazon alert for this for $59.00. It's from a place called America Media Systems, Inc Reviews are meh, but what the heck, I'll see what I get.

Wow! I got it - perfect condition, unopened, and half the price. Now I just need a building and tower to mount it on 🤣.

Beautiful area. My grandparents started spending their summers there 55-years ago after many years of near full-time travel.

Colorado had become overrun with tourists by then, thus Show Low became that pleasure without the crowds.

Looking forward to how things proceed.

You and me both. Man, it is HARD to come to terms with "Mountain Time"... It's a real thing: weather turns nice and instead of making hay while the sun shines - most contractors are off farting around in the woods or whatever. It's not like they can do much in the winter with snow, wet ground, what not. So I sit, waiting for the grader to get around to my little driveway access project, so the concrete guy can build a foundation, so the metal building people can install the structure.

If I have that done by the end of August, I'll consider it a miracle.
