Tippecanoe Co PD and FD patch on Dist-14 TG

During our daring daylight bank robbery yesterday, this patch showed up on the Dist-14 OPS-2 TG. All the Analog Tippecanoe Co PD and FD broadcasts from the Tippecanoe Co Public Safety (Site 1) were being heard on the Dist-14 W Lafayette TG in Digital. Very frustrating as it was about a second delayed and in digital. I think this is in preperation for our Purdue game tomorrow. There is some difficulty in coordinating traffic control when some of the units can only work digital on the Dist-14 site, and the majority of the traffic units are analog on the TippCo PS site.

I am still kicking myself because I was not listening to the scanner during the robbery. Don't get that oppurtunity very often .

I will be here tomorrow for the game and will be listening. Although I usually don't pick up the Lafayette SAFE-T site very well on my handheld.
