Tiverton PD help

Puzzled as to why I am unable to get any calls from Tiverton PD. FD works like a charm and they are broadcast from same location. Any thoughts?

Did you used to? Tiverton PD may have switched over to the RISCON digital trunk system. If you have a scanner that can pick up the system, monitor TG 1316, see if you hear them there.

Just getting back to listening. I've never heard them on the current listed frequency. Unfortunately I can't monitor the new digital system and suspect that might be the issue. Seems most of the surrounding towns FD are on the old system, but many of the PDs must have moved over to digital.

Tiverton police operate on 482.9625 and also 1316 on the RISCON system. I think the DPL For 482.9625 is 065

MassMan, yup, I tried that so if you have that (482.9625 with PL 065) working I must be doing something wrong programming it into my scanner

Tiverton PD has been RISCON only since last summer, according to the same question I posted at Scan New England. The UHF is silent.
