As of this morning there is an update in the database. Tonawanda PD has went p25 digital.

Interesting, I see that according to the database the emission designator is still only analog.
RRDB was changed to P25 yesterday morning. What are you looking at?

Correct, the FCC license. Although the FCC does have a "database" technically, right? LOL
The FCC info that can be searched on RRDB is extracted from the FCC's database so it shows whatever is on the license.
What is actually on the air often is not what is on the license which is why RRDB submissions have to be based on actual monitoring and not FCC license data.

I get that, I have submitted changes before based on my monitoring too.
I'm just a little surprised that they never changed the license to reflect the emissions change. I guess they don't care and FCC doesn't either, LOL

It wouldn't be the first time the emission type is changed without first seeking approval from the FCC. I see those discrepancies all of the time in the FCC licence database. You can't always believe what you read.
Just heard dispatch tell all town cars to switch to channel 2. There is no channel 2 in the DB or that i know of. Anyone have info on this?

Hmm maybe their old analog as a backup ?
cant confirm as i deleted the analog out. The did some radio service checks for about 30 min and went back on p25
