There were rumors going around about TPS going to 700/800 Mhz,or is that just a rumor ?
That would be an enormous undertaking, and I would be really surprised if they did it this year or any time soon.
Whether they want to talk about it or not, the G20 is going to account for a pretty substantial portion of the Public Safety budget for this year.
Trying to build in some money for a new radio system seems would involve some serious juggling of the city's budget, and I can't see a new system being a priority.
