Will the tower be installed "in" your house or "at" your house?
Describe the "flat mounting surface." Is it soil, rock, concrete, wooden deck, roof, etc.?

Your said "10 ft" tower. Is that all, of just the bottom section. Clarify please?

If it's a flat concrete surface, just get the correct base plate and mount it down with concrete anchors.

Ten Feet tall

If this is just one tower piece, get three L-brackets, a masonry drill bit, and some masonry screws. Set the tower on the cement pad, mount the L-brackets to the tower and the cement pad. I would be totally comfortable with this supporting one ten foot section of tower. If you're leery, then do all I've said, climb halfway up the tower, and hang off the side. If it don't move from your weight, whatever you put on it isn't gonna pull it down.

They'll pop if you do that from the top of the section, ask me how I know...
