If you have dedicated training channels/talk groups in your feed, please consider removing them. As you may be aware, the CrimeRadar app is using AI to listen to Broadcastify feeds in order to post community alerts, and it sometimes provides false information due to not understanding the context of the radio traffic. Training drills have been posted as real emergencies, causing public confusion and concern. Making sure that training channels do not come across the feeds might help cut down on some of the false alerts.

There have been a lot of complaints and talk about CrimeRadar and the lack of credible info they put out, and confusion they cause, but I disagree with denying other listeners the opportunity to hear traffic because of the negative behavior of one business. If we continue to limit the hobby because of the behaviors of one individual/business eventually there won't be any feeds to monitor. Just my opinion.

I disagree as well. Not because we have training channels or talkgroups but because we use our channels for training that are our operational channels. If I were to remove them I would miss traffic on a real incident. To me it sounds like maybe these companies need to do better and not tell the world what is happening.

Personally, I would prefer exclusively Training TGs not be included in a stream.

I always lock them out when creating a Favorites list.

Yes, if EXCLUSIVE
However many are part of the normal operation and may be assigned for trainings but are part of the normal assignment plans

As mentioned in another thread, more encryption is being discussed as a way of combating the bogus CrimeRadar alerts. That can also affect the availability of feeds. I agree that the business needs to clean up its act. However, we feed providers can't control the business. I just mentioned something that we might do to help a little bit.

More encryption has been discussed before CrimeRadar and given time and federal grants will continue to be discussed, but removing TGs or frequencies from feeds you are imposing a form of self-encryption yourself. But I've already said too much, my apologies to the admins if I have overstepped the line on my comments. I have no more to say here.

Yeah, I don't know why someone would want to put dedicated training channels on their feeds. 99.9999% of listeners to feeds will have no idea the difference between a training event and a real event. AI, listeners, people putting out IPN dispatches, etc are all impacted regarding this.
