I have an FT-70DR, and I'm having trouble connecting to Wires-X. I'm not the original owner, so I'm not sure if I have to register the radio again, and if I do, I'm confused as to how to do it. Can someone help me?

It tells you how to in the manual, but when I follow the instructions, it doesn't seem to work

Ah, FT70 dont do WiresX through the PC if thats what your tryig to do, you can connect to wiresx through a repeater linked to wiresx i beleive or a hotspot that connects to YSF with rooms that are connected to the wiresx server

I've been trying to do that, and there seems to be a repeater near me, but I'm not sure how to get it all started

if the repeater is wiresx connected get the frequences etc in the radio, press the wiresx button on the radio and you should be good to go

If you are trying to access the KC Room Wide simply program the frequencies of the nearest KC Wide repeaters and key the radio. The repeater is connected to all the other KC Wide repeaters via WiresX. You don't have to do anything on your radio. Unfortunately your radio doesn't have the ability to connect to WiresX directly via the PDN mode or with an HRI 200.
