Okay, I downloaded the program and started running it...but I must be doing something wrong. I have an audio cable plugged into the scanner and going into the input on the soundcard but I'm not seeing anything coming up on the screen. How do you use this program?

I believe it requires a discriminator tap to get the unfiltered audio to the sound card.

Okay, someone told me in a message that it didn't require a tap. Guess I'll wait until I get a desktop unit. I don't feel like ripping into this 396.

You could get an old scanner for a cheap price and put a tap in it. So long as it will receive the frequencies that the Control Channels are on you can use it to hook up to trunker programs. It doesn't even need to be a trunker.
