Hello, I have a BC250D and I seem to be having a problem. Is it possible to scan both a trunked system in 1 bank, as well as several conventional frequncies in a different bank?

How is that done?

You should be able to mix the two types (trunk & conv.) .

What is it not doing?

Is your trunk system entered in the proper mode ?

What type is it ? EDACS... should be in LCN order
Moto I.. should have a fleet map
Moto II..800,900,VHF-hi,UHF-lo

You are using a 250D, are you monitoring a digital system ?

It's only scanning the trunked system entered into the first bank. Moto II VHS. It's NOT scanning the conventional frequencies in the second bank.

Yep, the bank is active, and yes there is activity on the conventional frequencies that I am trying to scan.

I'm stumped :?:

Set the scanner to ID SEARCH Mode for the trunked bank, then observe if your conventional bank number is also listed on the bank line. If not press its number, then go back to ID SCAN Mode.
