If you’re in the market for a new two-way radio system, you may be feeling overwhelmed by all of the options: Analog vs. digital? Trunked radio system vs. Conventional? Repeater vs. Distributed Antenna System?
You create a trunked system with at least one site. Frequencies go into the site or sites. Trunked systems have talkgroups. Each talkgroup has a talkgroup ID (TGID) and an alpha tag telling what it is. What scanner do you have, what is your city, county, and state and which agencies do you want to monitor?
