Hi, Can anyone help me with trunking systems on the Central Coast. I have the GRN covered, but wondering what other systems are operating here and how to program them into a 780XLT.

Thanks Brad

NSW Central Coast Trunking sites

It all depends what part of the Central Coast you are living in - it is quite mountainous in places.

If you are down in Gosford all you will hear is three or four MPT1327 systems on VHF and UHF. Further north around the Tuggerah Lakes area there is a direct line of sight with Newcastle locations like Mt Heaton, Mt Sugarloaf and the high sites around Charlestown and New Lambton. Several MPT systems on UHF and VHF as well as a 1 channel LTR on 800mhz (use to be 4 channels until recently) and a 8 channel Type II 800Mhz Motorola system.

From my experience most of the action happens seems to happen on MPT which the 780 cannot track.
