I am a newbie to the forum world and to scanners. My scanner was working fine and I'm sure I changed something and now I have an Error Detected message. Please see user guide for more information. Code 5-00. I bought a new card but the message is still on. I could use some assistance.

That is a SD card error. If you have a New SD card, install it. Connect scanner to computer. Then from EZ Scan software, click the Scanner/SD Card option at the top. Then click on Prepare Scanner memory/SD card for use. This will format the SD card and install necessary files on the card. Then copy configuration to SD card.
