Is there any software like Proscan for the Trx-1? I'm looking for something that will allow me to stream the audio to my phone and control the scanner the same way. Does the Whistler Remote Demo allow for this?

Use TRX Android Suite all the time, windows app free, phone app costs after trial. Works really well, better than Whistler Remote Demo for logging.

The TRX control and logging will work on your computer, yes, and that software is available for free download, you just can't send it/control the radio from your phone.

Download TeamViewer 14 for you PC and then download TeamViewer For you cell Phone, both free. I use these to access my computer when I'm out.

But even with Team Viewer you need another program to control the TRX scanner and broadcast to your phone like he is trying to do. The TRX Android Suite does that and it's only one app on computer/phone designed to do what he wants, as well as provide logging for the frequencies.

I see what your saying it would be easier for him to use Android Suite

icopyradio also works google it as I have not used it.

I looked into icopyradio and decided to try it out. I've been using it to remote control and stream, working as I hoped so far. Thanks for the recommendation.
