Now that Goliad products LLC has bought whistler , I need to get my TRX-1 repaired , but I can't find a website for them ? So I'm suspicious, do they really exist ? If so do they do repairs ? I can't seem to find the information I need , does anyone have any good information for where to get my unit repaired ?

I also have a TRX-1 in need of repair. I sent them a message a month ago and have not received a reply.

Maybe their radios don't break? :p

But seriously I have no idea. At this point I'd guess they send a new unit.
Haha, that would be a great selling point! ;) That would make sense - just send a replacement. That often happens anyway, when a unit under warranty is not economical to repair.

It's quite possible they don't do repairs ? Or perhaps they aren't serious about the come back. Anyway there really isn't any use in buying or keeping a whistler scanner.
I'll give $100, you pay shipping. No joke, I'm serious.

Try contacting Uniden. They do repair non-Uniden scanners:

Uniden now repairs other brand model scanners. Service fee: $69.95 plus shipping.

what exactly is wrong with it? I purchased a TRX-1 several years ago for cheap here in the classifieds that would not work with batteries and was able to fix it myself.
