hi does my trx 1 need to be on or off for programming? thanks for any advice

Off if programming it in the scanner, but you will get better results and faster downloads if you remove the SD card and do it through the computer.

Ok thanks for your help.also when I got it had some programs already in the scan list but there gone now do you know if I can get them back ?

Only if you saved them in the FILE ARCHIVE

When you save the file to archive, give it a name that makes sense to you, not the CDAT number. That will make it a lot easier to find and recall in the future.
