Hi everybody, I'm hoping for some TRX-2 advice! I've had my radio for about a year and a half, and aside from some things i accidentally caused to happen, she's been trouble free and given lots of good information and entertainment. This week, my city fire department changed from NXDN to P25. Naturally, I stopped hearing them, so I thought "no problem, I'll just fire up EZscan and fix her right up." I'm able to import my settings from the radio, and I can pull them up in "conventional frequencies." When I click on the column labeled "mode," a little drop down menu appears with different options but none of them are P25. The options offered are "AM, FM. NFM, AUTO, and DMR." But no "P25." If you can't tell, I'm a pretty low level user. I had Scanner Master program it for me when I bought it because I'm not very comfortable or knowledgable with the different systems and modes and stuff. Does someone mind to please take the time to advise me? What should I do to switch that channel over from NXDN to P25? Thanks, everybody!

Select FM or NFM and under squelch mode, select NAC and then set the squelch NAC value.

You need to change the "Channel Type" to "Analog/Project 25 Digital" I believe.

If you set the squelch mode to search and if it is a single frequency/channel setup, the scanner will tell you what the NAC value is when it stops on that frequency. Then you can update the channel setting in EZ-Scan.

If it is a trunked system, you'll need to do some additional digging or if someone has DSDPlus, should be able to get more info.
