One question that I haven't found answer to, can you set a TG to record?
Not aware of a way in DSD+ to only record one talkgroup & not the rest of the site (I'm sure I'll be promptly corrected if I'm wrong) SDRTrunk allows you to pick and choose talkgroups you want to listen to and record

Nevermind, no NXDN support (as of date of this posting) in SDRTrunk...

Enable per-channel recording.
I saw that, can you specify the one TG or no? Didn't want to record the whole system. Went to github to look into trunk recorder but no windows install and hat to keep adding programs to do things. If anything can just enable it and then wipe out once a day so not a real big deal.

Not trunk recorder. Trunking recorder. If you’re only interested in one tg, set all the others to L/O. If you can’t do that, and end up recording all tg’s, you can selectively play back any tg in trunking recorder.

Why did I not think of L/O other TG in there.... DUH!!o_O I went through the group file om my P25 system I ran it on and just changed Normal to L/O on groups I did not want to hear and it worked fine. Sometimes my mind just don't work like it should anymore. Maybe it is due to the clock repair I've been into lately. LOL

Thought the system in question was a NXDN system?

Either way, while L/O will block all tg's in your groups file, any new tg's on the system will get thru and be recorded. Probably private calls also if any.

Yes, the system in question is a NXDN. I setup a folder to run this on my local P25 and saw somewhere about marking the TG with the L/O instead of Normal that it wouldn't do anything with them. When trying to figure this one out (NXDN) I overlooked that detail of the L/O.

Will go back through and L/O the other TG and set it to record and see what I get.

If you keep getting new TGs that record, use the priority level threshold for TGs. The new groups come through at 50, Normal. Set your target group to below 50 and set the Monitoring Threshold in the Control tab something between that and 50

Mobiletech is indeed a DFA system.

NEXEDGE DFA support was added in DSD+ Fast Lane 2.155 (Dec 2018)

If you're serious about monitoring the system, you need to be on the latest Fast Lane release. If you're unwilling to pay for it, no matter what your reasoning, then you're just wasting time trying to get the 10 year old last public release to work on this system type.
How do you get the latest version? I only see the public version from 2018 to download. Been trying to get that to decode NXDN24 for a week. Do they send you a link through PayPal after you purchase?

The way I have always don that is with the FMP24 batch file. make a copy and input the control channel frequency.
Usually all the defaults will work.
Now, start that batch file, it should lauch DSD. It should show your signal display. Now run the 1R batch file, arrange the windows how you like.
Everything from there is very much automatic. It will append to your frequency , radio files, etc. You can edit these files while DSD is running.
I never used unitrunker. DSD v 1.01 is what you want. that is the basic DSD+. It is worth getting faslane, that will update DSD+ and current base files. Quite easy with the zip file, back up your DSD working folder, place the zip file in that folder and do an 'extract here'.
Overwrite what files you extract and your DSD+ is current. I can't see this being any harder or easier than SDR Trunk or Unitrunker.

guess where I get lost on everything is this:

in the .networks file it goes as such:

protocol, networkID, "network name"[, TIIIareaLength]

I was thinking it should go as: NXDN, 13, HOMER
At the top of all these files are instructions how to edit/add networks, frequencies, TGs, radios.

Don't know if there is a record plugin yet, but DSD keep logs of such things as TGs, RIDs, etc.
Maybe pipe audio to you OS recorder. All day would be one HUGE file.

Set up Per Call Recording in DSDPlus, then use Trunking Recorder to import and play back.

Actually, what I did was L/O all TG that were in there and set the recording. It went for a few days and I never got anything on it. I did download the freq and what not that was shown in the database and just ran it from there. Had to set the CC in the FMP24-CC.bat file and once got PPM dialed in, set that in there as well. It has ran fine on the system but haven't heard anything new.
