Trying to use APRS

I have been trying to use my BTECH DMR 6x2 to receive and send APRS, but nothing seems to work. I've been struggling to find how to get APRS to actually work, I live in the concord area so any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance

I thought that radio only supports APRS in DMR Mode which means the local repeater would need to support it ? You may get better information in the Amateur forums

It can receive and transmit APRS on DMR but it supports sending APRS with analog

I was curious about the radio... Apparently you can do regular analog APRS. You need to have the latest firmware. That will let you program the radio with the necessary parameters. New firmware adds analog APRS to the DMR-6X2 handheld radio ‣ BaoFeng Tech & BTECH Radios
