TVRTS in Bradley County

Reception of Cleveland PD has improved tremendously during the past week. In addition to reception from the the Oswald Dome and North Bradley sites, unusually strong signals from frequencies assigned to Chattanooga simultcast have been noted in unexpected locations in Bradley County. I have not checked the FCC database, but I am beginning to suspect that a new site or two has been placed into operation.

Don't know if this has to do with your received signal getting stronger, but both the North Bradley and Oswald Dome sites have added frequencies, going from 5 to 7 channel sites. Apparently they need more capacity, or expect to at some point. The data base is showing new frequencies.

I haven't been "home" to visit family since January. Is Bradley County and Cleveland City still using and/or simulcasting the TVRTS with their VHF?

Cleveland PD is no longer simulcasting, dispatch has switched over to TVRTS only. Bradley Co SO is still dispatching on VHF, they are using TVRTS for admin and talk.
