Does anybody have any two tone decoders for the newer MacBook Air laptops? I am trying to find the two tones for our Warning sirens activation. I have used audacity, and our station's fire/Ems tone out frequencies are tone a: 812 hz tone b: 585 hz. I had the siren frequencies but I lost the files and they were on my phone that fell apart like a lego set. Yes it was an old android. My point being though is that I wanted to know when our local 3t22, sth-10, and model 7 are activated. I wanted to have my EFJ 5100 alert with a different sound than when our station is paged for a fire and rescue call.

Wouldn't the sound of the sirens be a good indicator they are activated?
I live 5 or 6 miles out of the town, and live on a farm with loud heavy machinery and corn surrounding us

You stated it was your "local" siren, so I assumed you could hear it. Being outside the intended coverage of the siren system may mean you are outside the range of the alerting transmitter also.

I am in Henderson, a small town in York County. York has responsibility for Paging multiple towns, and part of another county. Henderson relies on the York County dispatch. so I am closer to the dispatch than the town. Fun fact, I am also family with one of the dispatchers as well. If I can sometime, maybe see if I could record the siren tones next year for my town, and see on audacity, btu I highly doubt i will have time due to work.

Look for an app called Radio ID in the App Store. l use this app on my phone to decode QCII tones and I've never had a problem with it.
