For the life of me I cannot find where Proscan logs the UID's that come across. To clarify, does it log every UID that it sees somewhere? I can see where it keeps the last one but I'd like to know if there's a way to see every UID that is logged for a specific day/time, or whatever. Thanks.

I'll be honest I looked at the manual and can't see where it's even keeping them if it is. My dashboard doesn't look like the one @KevinC and if it's logging them somewhere, I can't find it. they do pop on the logging history screen as it's happening so I know it's getting them but, as far as storing them anywhere, that I haven't found.

What model scanner are you using?
BCD 536, it does the history logging just fine and I can see the UID on that as they're talking but, I have no way to go back and see what all UID's talked on that talk group on Starcom 21 in IL. I can't post a pic here but my dashboard wasn't the same as Kevin posted. I have the latest version of the software, 23.4.

Make sure your Options > Logging settings match my 536HP's. I have UIDs logged as far back as 2/2

Under History Logging tab, check "Each transmission new row" to ensure every UID is logged for every transmission otherwise it'll overwrite the previous one occurring on the same TGID. Might be what is happening in your case?

Ok I did not have each transmission new row checked, and I had nothing checked on the first page you sent to me, thanks.. so now, is there a place I can just see the UID's for a specific talk group or, will they just come up now where I few the history logging?

Also will the hits now be the number for that UID instead of the TG itself?

You can use "Find & Select..." to filter your log by TGID or UID

No, still will be per TGID

Basically what I'm wanting to do is label for instance dispatch, and in the case of my town which is dispatched by county, capture the UID's and just rename them so I knew it was one of my cars in town talking. (if that makes sense or is possible).
Thanks. BTW I wish I would have got this software when I first got my BCD 436 (5 or so years ago now) Man I'd be ahead of learning on it and it sure "does work".

This is achievable in the Favorites Editor. You'll need to write changes to the scanner first for it to take affect
