Understanding a multiple site license

I am evaluating an active license that has 2 FX1 station class approximately 100 miles apart from each other. It also has a MO and a FB station class located as well. I am a newbie at this so don't understand quite what is going on here. I understand the frequencies have to be the same but what about the DPLs that are programmed? Do they have to be all the same at both locations?

FX1 is a base station/control station that operates through a repeater.
MO is mobile radios
FB is a base station that communicates with mobile radios.

Since you didn't include the call sign, I can't really tell you any more. Since this isn't a GMRS/FRS thing, unless it is a grandfathered license, it's kind of hard to guess what is going on.

DPL's do not have to be the same at both locations, and that may be to prevent interference between the two locations. The FCC does not assign DPL's, PL, page out tones, etc.

Call sign is wsa560. I believe it is a company renting out a repeater service but I need to understand their coverage area--in other words why there are two repeaters on the same frequencey about 100 miles apart on the same license. I am interested in looking into renting a spot on their license but I am about halfway between the two towers and wanted to completely understand the setup.
If this post is in the wrong forum please advise.

It doesn't look like they have a repeater on that license, at least not from the station codes. I'm thinking there are multiple licenses for these guys. The trick would be finding the rest of them and trying to piece it all together.

Yeah, I ran their FRN, and they have a ton of licenses. Looks like the do some trunking, conventional and at least at one time, did a lot of paging systems.

Best thing to do would be to contact them directly and ask.

Best thing to do is contact them directly. IF they are in the Radio system Rental/Lease they can explain how THEIR system is designed and provide a coverage map, much better than our ***-u-m-ptions as hobbyists.
