I would be willing to help out if you buy one John. I already have most all of the valley systems / simulcasts in my program, and could pretty easily add what you want, and then upload the program to your G4/5 if you wanted to stop by with it. I've always received help on RR, including help from you, and don't mind giving back.

Thank you. Unfortunately, our washing machine decided to go bad yesterday, so that has to be repaired, if not replaced entirely. Any thoughts on spending that kind of money for a new toy are now on the back burner, before even seriously considering it.

Oh I totally understand. My BCD536HP is being sold to pay for the G4, I have my own limitations. It's OK though, since I've found that a digital base scanner with a rooftop antenna is somewhat pointless for simulcast. It just means that every simulcast system is un-listenable. Since what the rooftop antenna is really good for is the remaining conventional stuff including DPS, fireground, and air band, my BC780XLT now sits in that spot (it has a better receiver anyway). I won't be buying another digital base scanner until they figure out how to make one that works with simulcast.

At any rate, the offer will still be there if you want to make the move at some point.
