Sorry for the miss info , I do have uhf and I live by ohare airport . As for the towers I looked them to see which one was closest to me. So would 149 still be the closest?

If you wanted more things to listen to, you should program in the tollway (ISP D-15) patrol channels on the Starcom system. You could be listening to Chicago Fire on their UHF P25 frequencies. If you wanted to listen to NIFERN/IFERN, DuComm runs a UHF repeater that rebroadcasts the VHF frequency. That makes for some interesting listening from time to time. I noticed you also had DMR enabled. There is a plethora of UHF DMR activity in your area.

Yes, Site 149. Ok. Good. UHF ... Like RBMTS said, you have a G5 UHF that can try and listen for the P25 Chicago Digital fire frequencies. I get them loud and clear with my old Pro96 with a Yagi aimed toward Chicago. I get most of them really well. Have fun.

That would be hard for us to answer. You'd almost have to perform your own testing to see what site receives better for you (and that carries the MCD traffic). Schiller Park is in sort of a hodge-podge of sites (NWCD, Cook, Dupage, etc). So what site would work best for you would be difficult for us to say.

What I might suggest is create the different sites in your G5 (each individually). Then create new button positions, each using one of the different sites and listening to MCD. Then switch between them when receiving the MCD traffic. Watch the signal bars and see what site is better for you.
