I made mistake I felt stupid
How my going to charge my batteries so the next time this will happen
It appears that three different batteries of 3 different capacities were installed. This can cause all kinds of problems. The lower-capacity battery is going to go dead before the other two and then the battery is going to be reverse charged by the other cells, which is very damaging. Then, when charging, the cell is going to be significantly overcharged with respect to the other two cells. You should always use batteries of the same size and type (meaning all three from the same manufacturer and same ratings) in any product, not just scanners.
This is not the kind of think we can warranty against. But, post photos of the damage if you can.

Sorry up man I'm just little upset with myself
I know you might not want to do this, but can you make LIScanner101 happy and confirm if we should or should not charge the batteries in the scanner.....lol
Thanks UPman.
Sorry, that's not going to pass muster, unless whatever UPMan posts here is legal copy and company-sanctioned. I would prefer to see something like what you're asking for on company letterhead, not just a post on a website.
anybody mad at me ?
Know you know as well as I do this will NEVER happen. Then people like you and me will hold their *** on the fire....lol
Well, then, if that won't happen, then if somebody tries to charge stock HP-1 batteries IN an HP-1 and the device catches fire then Uniden is liable.
Do you understand and grasp the seriousness of this matter?
\NO, I'ma too stupid to think for myself.....lol
I know what you are saying and going after, but in reality it is the end user who needs to do some research and reading before going off and screwing themselves outta money.
I did it and many others have also.
