I would like to know when a provoice scanner will come out....

Everyone wants to know something, but in your case you can find out by going to the RR Database at the top and click on your STATE (which you failed to mention) and then click on your county (which you also failed to mention) and then you can pull up your city and find the freqs for your local police...

btw, the bct7 is a horrible radio for trying to use as a scanner. The BCT8 or the BC-780xlt would be a much better choice.

The BCT7 puzzles me. Particularly it's features to price point relation. It's nearly as expensive as the BCT8, but it doesn't trunk. It's a lot more expensive than the 350C, which does nearly the same thing. If I lived in an area with no trunking, and it had the numeric keypad and a serial out, and did CTCSS and was a little less than the 8 - I could see it.
