Uniden future feature?

If the BC246T turns out to be the hit I think it will, then this could be a great feature to add to the next generation digital. I found a radio product that is using the Secure Disk/MMC for storage for recording AM/FM audio. This is an great feature that could be used and maybe it could also be set up to handle the radio memory:

Yes I'm sure us working stiffs would find a device like this very
helpful while we are 9 to 5 -ing.

Here is another thought how about APCO-25 decode during limit/service search such as the BC250D/BC296D has?

Why do you think they would remove APCO decoding in the next digital model if all current models offer that option?

True, if Uniden holds true to form. I'd like to keep Activity Id also.

How about a sleep timer or turn on timer. On a base/mobile like the 796 this would be great.

Sorry Joe, I guess I should of said low end Uniden radios.

That is a good point. An AOR feature that would be good on a Base/Mobile Uniden Traunktracker.
