This radio appears to share the SDS100 case, along with quality problems including broken belt clips, battery issues, and dying after being submerged in water despite the IPX8 rating. It makes you wonder if this radio preceded the SDS100 and carried on the hardware flaws?

uniden of late has been reusing molds because i bet theyre expensive. imagine what paul could have accomplished if they actually gave him a respectible rd budget...
