Has anyone else been having trouble reaching Uniden by phone? I called them last week about a scanner I had in for repair and was able to reach them right away and was quite pleased with the service I got over the phone. I'm trying to reach them over the phone this week about another scanner that's in for repair and I seem to keep getting the answering service (no IVR, just straight to a live person or queue) and they've told me that someone would call back, but there has been no return call. I'm calling the 1-800-297-1023 number that I've always called from the website.
I thought maybe it was just me, so I tried calling from another number with a different area code and had the same result. I just want to check on the status of my repair without having to "just wait a little longer."
