about the Uniden sds100, I was wondering if you can manually create a P25 phase II trunk system in this scanner if you wanted to ?
or do you have to do this via computer ?

yes but its easier with a computer

That about says it. If for some reason a type II system was not in the database, you could still set it up manually, but if it is there, doing it manually would only be an exercise you would undertake for education purposes.

I do the simplest things using Sentinel. I leave the USB cable plugged into the scanner and just make any changes with the computer. To me it is much easier than trying to navigate everything manually.
