SDS100/SDS200: Uniden SDS100E Update problem

Hello,

I have product ( Uniden SDS100E ) that already keys are activated. I tried to update to get new waterfall but sentinel software says your device is already updated.

Main: Version 1.22.00
Sub: Version 1.02.01

SDS100 does not have the best receiver performance to be used as a spectrum analyzer but as a waterfall key are only €23 you can as well buy it as it could make life easier for you, seeing what the scanner does when receiving signals. It would have been a greater help if the filter settings where actually used in some way to see if one setting would get rid of a strong interfering signal.

There are services that help users get around location issues. I don't know much, just heard they exist.

Maybe someone you trust in another country can help, buying the upgrade on your behalf.

I generally do not endorse specific dealers, but have you tried purchasing it from a dealer like ScannerMaster?
They may be able to take overseas payments.

For God's sake, make them accept payments from all over the world. You'll make life easier for thousands of users of your scanners. There's a lot of them outside the U.S. and Canada.

Buying equipment made for the NA market made by Uniden NA. If they are outside the USA they should purchase units made for their region.

It's a terrible service from the European distributor Avera.eu
They link to Unidens Australian website where you can buy the keys for a SDS100E and SDS200E. You can select many countries in the selection but some are missing like Turkey, Sweden and Denmark.

The web shops in Sweden that sell these scanners also offers to sell the keys, they probably do that thru ScannerMaster as their cost are 225% higher than what Uniden Australia charge for them.
