Please excuse my ignorance on not entirely understanding the update notes (I am not always on the forums to be able to learn as much as I should.)
Being said, it seems that this update addressed some of the complaints I'd had (as well as my fathers) regarding the SDS200 needing to be power cycled (off and on) in order to receive transmissions again after long scanning sessions. I'd seen on average that about 36 hours of listening the scanner would begin to just continually scan and not 'lock on' to a transmission. The odd thing is, my fathers would do the same after 48 hours. After this update (1.24.00) it seems to have fixed this issue for the time being.
Is this related to the decoding issue mentioned, or is this more related to the units timing becoming out of sync after a period of time?
