Then roll back to the previous FW and see what happens.I did. Was able to pull it in. Still barely pulls in what I need though compared to before.

How do I go about going to the previous one. I can't roll back in Sentinal. I've never done a roll back before. I'm willing to try though. Then roll back to the previous FW and see what happens.

Connect the scanner to the computer and enter MSM on the scanner.
In windows explorer locate the scanner drive and copy the firmware file to the firmware subfolder.
Safely eject the drive then reboot the scanner.
Couple of things, why does the folder contain item as old as March 2024, 1.23.20 was the previous. It's telling it's got .07Download the below file...

The link has instructions on how to perform the downgrade. Be sure to use the current link as I posted an earlier version but updated the link in my post.Couple of things, why does the folder contain item as old as March 2024, 1.23.20 was the previous. It's telling it's got .07
Also, where is the scanner drive and subfolder? Names? I'm lost.
Perfect. Got it installed. Thank you. Will try to get a better look at things now.The link has instructions on how to perform the downgrade. Be sure to use the current link as I posted an earlier version but updated the link in my post.
Don't make any other changes as that will skew the results. And you can go back and forth between these 2 for testing. I highly suspect the current FW is not the cause of any perceived issues you have though.Perfect. Got it installed. Thank you. Will try to get a better look at things now.

1.03.15
Early suggestions are pointing to needing to use the Invert Filter for the sites on this particular system. I've went back now to 1.24.00 with the filters in place and I'm hearing this system again. But with the filter off or on normal gets 0 signal.Don't make any other changes as that will skew the results. And you can go back and forth between these 2 for testing. Sorry to jump in here. Can I set that filter, per system, or. Is it always just Global?Early suggestions are pointing to needing to use the Invert Filter for the sites on this particular system. I'm guessing that one of the new control channels that are close to me on another system that is replacing this system that uses the same area of frequencies is the culprit to possible interference that at first I didn't think was there. That site apparently is closer to me than I had originally thought.
The SDS200 however is still a bit deaf though in some areas of vhf however compared to the 436. Yet, in some instances when having finally connected to my outside antenna with the SDS200 from this other room than my actual radio room it still nets results on a few other frequencies that I didn't think I would get. This filter change at the moment now allows me to atleast hear 1 site of the needed system. On the 436, I can hear atleast 2 sites.
Now that I know how to go back and forth in firmware, I'll keep my eye on things a bit closer to see if there are any other changes.
I'll keep having a listen over the next little bit again to see what my captures are for frequencies that I am getting.
Per site on a system. Or a department in conventional mode.Sorry to jump in here. Can I set that filter, per system, or. Is it always just Global?

U try wide invert or any other filters? I use wide invert on my SDS 200 for my systems definitely helps the decode and alot less D errors. Might help might not worth a try thoughI did. Was able to pull it in. Still barely pulls in what I need though compared to before.
Regular I think is good enough. I don't want to slow down the scanning too much more. How different is the wide invert?U try wide invert or any other filters? I use wide invert on my SDS 200 for my systems definitely helps the decode and alot less D errors. Might help might not worth a try though
I don't notice any difference between off and wide invert, there might be but I don't notice it.Regular I think is good enough. I don't want to slow down the scanning too much more. How different is the wide invert?
What I observered, the scan seems to scan faster when filter is set to offI don't notice any difference between off and wide invert, there might be but I don't notice it.
You have to be careful with that, using it as an indicator. If it scans faster it could mean that it doesn't receive the signal properly and skips systems if the squelch doesn't open due to de-sense that blocks reception. On the other hand if the squelch opens on a lot of interference signals that it shouldn't receive then that will slow down scanning. There's really no good way to tell what's the preferred setting when looking at scan speed. What I observered, the scan seems to scan faster when filter is set to off
Adding Features to the BCD996P2/BCD325P2, BCD536HP/BCD436HP, SDS200/SDS100 adds to the amount of Flash Memory used. It has been said by UPMan when he was still posting that the P2's and the x36's had limited Flash Memory Available UPMan never did get to tell us how much space we had to work with in the SDS's.
