My unitrunker wont download info from RR. I have disabled my firewall to test if that is it but it is not getting the info?
Turn your firewall back on. Please provide some detail - what system are your trying to download? How did you initiate the download?

Hi charmingajs007;

I found several problems when downloading this system. I've coded a workaround which should be available soon. The biggest hassle (for which I don't have a solution) is in the way the DB lumps all sites together. It doesn't tell me which site goes with which of the three system IDs. In short, I have to ignore the site information. I'm hoping the new web service interface fixes this issue - but that's a month or so away.

Hi charmingajs007;

I may be wrong, as I haven't lived in that area for quite some time, but I believe that:-

Sites 100 up are SysID 3a0d

Sites 200 up are SysID 5d0d

Sites 300 up are SysID 7d3d

In other words, the first digit of the Site No, in the RR database, just denotes which SysID the Site comes under. So database Site 148 is Site 48 under SysID 3A0D.

That may be the convention that the DB administrator has chosen. Other DB administrators for other regions may choose a different way. In fact, the system IDs are listed in the following order:

RR DB said:
<sysid ct="" wacn="">5D0D</sysid>
<sysid ct="" wacn="">7D3D</sysid>
<sysid ct="90.00" wacn="">3A0D</sysid>

The site descriptions look like this:

RR DB said:
<site num="102" desc="Beecroft Pennant Hills " callsign="" county="N/A" location="Beecroft Pennant Hills " neigh="" ct="90 Hz" modulation="ASTRO Networked">

This is the old XML format, not the new "SOAP" format. The issue here is that there is nothing in the data to tell me which site goes with which system ID (and I don't know if the new format solves this problem).
