Has anyone gotten Unitrunker v19 to work with EDACS NB TRS? Not having any luck with GRE PSR-600 scanner, using GRE 30-3290 USB Scanner/PC interface Cable for GRECOM Scanners and Windows XP Home Edition SP3. Getting 99% signal on Trunked System. Is there something I have to tweek with this mode? Got it to work using APCO P-25, Motorola Systems, EDACS Wide so far but no luck on EDACS NB.

First be sure the system really is "narrow" - which means 900 MHz.

You might also check to see if they are using ESK on the control channel.

I don't see anything that would suggest ESK. The Invert Data has to be on to show the talkgroups on the PSR600. Tried it all posible ways ways and still nothing. This is an EDACS NB 900 MHz Networked TRS.

It appears to be working for me with the Uniden 996XT Inline method.

Hi Dennis;
What method are you using to get CC data from the radio; are you using TSYS analyze or Tune?

Thanks Dennis. I'll check this out. I think I can get TXU / Oncor from here.

Thanks. Yes. Its Oncor Energy; Copperas Cove Tower Site. What driver version should I be using with the GRE 30-3290 USB Scanner/PC Interface Cable for GRECOM Scanner for Windows XP SP3? I also can't seem to keep Unitrunker running before data quits decoding in the other modes. Longest I have been able to run Unitrunker is 1-2 hours before it quits decoding.

Hi Dennis;
The Invert Data has to be on to show the talkgroups on the PSR600. Tried it all posible ways ways and still nothing. This is an EDACS NB 900 MHz Networked TRS.
Placed my PSR500 into tune mode and walked up/down the 935-940 Mhz range. Picked up multiple EDACS narrow control channels in Belton and Temple while mobile.

Site 8 LCN 1 on 936.475
Site 2 LCN 4 on 938.475
Site 7 LCN 3 on 938.9375
Site 12 LCN 5 on 939.4125

I did not see any issues. In each case the site window appeared and the control channel frequency automatically appeared after a few seconds.

Sorry this being an old thread, however out here in Los Angeles I'm having trouble with an EDACS narrow system as well.

Program seems to work fine on non narrow EDACS systems, but does not decode on the EDACS narrow. If it matters, this is a 400Mhz EDACS system.

Utilize a PRO106 with direct data in via the RS cable.

I have no issues with other EDACS systems around LA Basin, however this one system leaves unitrunker unresponsive essentially.

On the receiver window, turn on decode logging and tuner (control) logging. Restart the receiver and tune the radio to an EDACS wide system. This will log some reference data. Tune the radio to a narrow system and let it run for a minute or two. Stop the receiver and check the logs.

Click the receiver window folder icon to see the log files in Windows Explorer. In the Tuner log, the radio spews out lines of text that start with "EDW" for wide EDACS and "EDN" for narrow. You should see both.

There's a signal invert option in your PRO-106. Narrow EDACS is inverted relative to standard EDACS.
