After playing around for a while with Unitrunker tonight, I'm not sure if the holding is working correctly in combination with other options that are set. I have my Listen configuration set to Listen=Y, Thresh=51, Ign Thres=Y, Ign LO=Y, Ign Listen=Y, Mute=No.
It doesn't seem to want to hold on the group I have highlighted and have pressed F3 or F4 on... Do both F3 and F4 do the same thing?
My personal opinon is that I coudn't care less about using software like Unitrunker/Trunker to scan through my groups like a normal scanner. Since there are multiple agencies on the sytstems I monitor, I might have all of the PD talk groups set to a priority of 45, and all Fire groups set to 5. However at any point in time when I see something pop up on the screen that is of more interest, I want to be able to push the up or down arrow (or some like key) a couple of times and come to rest on the group I want to hold on. This is probably due to me using Trunker for so long (about 8+ years) that I've become spoiled. Also in Trunker when you push the up/downn arrow to change to another activie group, trunker starts you at the group that is currently being listend to and it only jumps to the next active frequency. I think now with Unitrunker, you have to go through each individual channel to get there, regardless of activity. Just noticed one other thing as far as the screen feedback goes... I like the little astric (*) that Trunker shows on the group that is being listened too.
I know that this program is still in Beta, and you have done an awsome job with all of the features you've added... I'm just throwing in my 2 cents on how [in my opinion] to give it a little boost.
