Unknown system data channel

866.3625 - getting a control channel signal on here with DAT showing up in the scanner. Did a tafl search on it in Ontario/Quebec with no luck. Any ideas around the Ottawa area as to what system this one comes from?

Looks like all enc comms, perhaps the new frequencies for the Gatineau system?

What system are referring to? And how does one come up with the other frequencies if not published yet? Or did the SDR give ya that info?

I was mobile parked searching out some bands and came across this so I thought I'd just put it out there to see what's up on it. I'll plug it into the radio to see what else I can get with those frequencies. What type of system do I put it in as?

Its interesting what ya can find if ya park on even the slightest bit of a hill with little to no interference around.

Try P25 Trunk, enter the frequencies listed, and ID Search.

With that type of a P25 system, the associated frequencies are are loaded from the data stream.
They will then show up using DSD.

I am using SDR# and sending the data stream to DSD+
Great software!

I think DaveH posted earlier that these frequencies are for Gatineau, seems that they changed frequencies.

Fairly big system. You are decoding Site 8 and showing neighbouring sites 3,4,5,6,7

Now that we have more info like this. Any plans for it to be added to the database. So we know a name for this system or who the frequencies belong to? Does SDR give ya that info?

Things only get added to the DB via submission. Someone can get to it and add it no problem.

Yes as mentioned earlier, completely new system for Gatineau police and fire, completely encrypted. Old system frequencies are no longer in use. Public works is moving to VHF Nexedge, only idle CC activity there now.

Not sure how much this helps, but here's 2 talkgroups that I have logged on this system. Of course, I don't know who they are, I believe they were both encrypted, but I did see them pop up on the screen when monitoring the system one day.
